  1. It really isn't a matter of 2D versus 3D for me. I just doesn't think it should be based on fast action and combos. It should be dodge and hit, like the old ones. Same reason Strider shouldn't play like Viewtiful Joe. It's just a different kind of action.

    What kind of timing are you refering to?... do you mean the timing that it requires to determine when you should push the button according to how far the enemy is away from you're character in order to hit them with a whip or when you're jumping from ledge to ledge over and over again, how about the precision in finding a pattern to a boss character and when you do there is no real challenge anymore because he is so predictable that he always uses that same pattern and never adapts to how you react... that's just poor A.I.

    Combos aren't bad... as long as they aren't over done or over used, combos should just be part of the attack system and not a main focus of the game.

    Remove the combo system, make the basic enemies one- or two-hit kills,
    I don't want my new games to be exactly like my old ones, and killing something in one hit isn't the least bit exciting

    if by static camera you mean one you cant control then yes it has a static camera

    which is why i missed the splitting path earlier from the way the level is designed and the way the camera sits nothing seemed to say to me hey you could go this way instead and i only found it cause for some reason i felt like running along the walls and suddenly there wasnt a wall in this spot that i thought there would have been *shrug*

    Really? Just curious but how do you know this?

    BTW, post or PM me some spoilers. I'd like to know some stuff regarding the storyline/final boss/ending.

    (I'm one of those people who occasionally reads the end of a book to see if I'm going to like the story btw)
