Has anyone here actually played the demo? I've got one coming from Japan, should be here by the end of the week. Should I get my hopes up? Thanks to shipping it ended up costing me more than I'd like to admit, but I guess it is worth it. On the plus side, there are a few other demos on the disc I wanted to try out such as the new Maximo and Gregory Horror Show.

Looks as if there will be eight areas instead of just five and that Dracula may not be the main antagonist in the game after all (though I think the reviewer has forgotten Iga's penchant for multiple endings and didn't do something correct to reach Dracula...)

This month OPM reviewed it and gave it 4 stars. They said that the fighting and action in the game was nicely done, and camera almost never was a problem. The only thing they complained about that some of the backtracking might be too repetetive.

Hope he's playable after you beat him or get inevitable true ending by (like you said) beating Dracula.

Wouldn't be much of an opening saga if the first Belmont didn't even fight Dracula at the end...

I was skeptical of how this would turn out after how disasterous the N64 ones were, but the video has me more hyped for it than ever

I just hope that I can find that new model PS2 before it comes out in a few weeks. It'd suck not being able to play it from day 1
