I just saw a poster for it last night at the movie theater. I'm kinda confused on what it's about, but it's supposed to be a comedy, right?
I'll post impressions of this movie after I see it over the weekend, but since it was released last week, I was wondering if anyone has seen it yet? It's supposed to be Bill Murray's best performance, esp. considering this is a "non-Bill Murray" role. I thought Murray was the shit as Herman Blume in Rushmore so I'm pretty hyped to see LiT. From what I understand, it's done pretty well for a limited release, so it may start showing up in more theaters.

I haven't seen it, but I just picked up the soundtrack. New Kevin Shields song! Woo!

It is just him singing, an electric guitar with distortion & drumming. It is easily the most bare bones & intimate recording I have heard from him. You can tell that it is him singing & the song has his distinctive vibe without getting into MBV tone bending. Basicaly it is just really nice to know that he still can pick up a guitar for somthing with his name on it. There are also two instrumental pieces that were written as BGM. The soundtrack also has MBV, Air, Squarepusher, Death in Vegas & Jesus & Mary Chain. So far, both of S. Copola's films have had killer soundtracks.Originally Posted by epmode

Found out it's playing at several local cinemas here. I should have time to watch it sometime during the week.
Also, I saw a commercial for it and - man, I'm really excited - Bill Murray does karaoke and he sings '(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding!'
Everyone says its fantastic who's seen it, and its the one movie I intend to go out of my way to see this year.
Bill Murray is by far the funniest man alive.
I believe this role will get him an academy award.
