Did anyone catch the "Shaq and the Super Lakers" cartoon on Mad T.V. saturday?

I laughed my ass off the entire cartoon.

The whole make fun of Hana Barbera thing is owned by Smigel. However last Saturday, Mad TV gave them a run for their money with their Super Lakers cartoon.

Best moment was probably when Kobe FLEW into the backboard when he saw the teenage white chick with huge boobs.

Shaq:"Todays lesson is dont be givin out autographs, and the Lakers can win without Kobe"

Times like this I wish I could tape stuff with my vcr

I caught it, but was barely paying attention since I was online doing stuff and the TV was on in the background. What I saw I thought was great. Now if they just made the animation a little better, it definitely could be up there with Smigel.

Aw... Is it a reoccuring skit? I don't watch Mad TV often (the last time I watched they had the 50 cent "C.R.A.P." parody playing, and before that it was like the episode after the series premier. )

It isnt a reoccuring skit, but it seems as if Mad TV is picking up animation again. The last funny cartoon that they had was a parody of the Zoloft commercial. It was an ad for extacy

This was the first time i watched the show in a while, and I still only watched the first half hour until SNL was on. I felt the show lost it when they strayed from the MAD roots of parodies and went to SNL lite. What I mean by this is trying to get reoccuring characters and stuff.

I actually remember the first episode. The first skit inolved fox execs literally pulling the cast members off the street and asking them if they wanted jobs. One of them was a mail man or something.

Those first few seasons were solid gold, but once the original people started dropping out, I stopped caring about the show completely.
