Hey at least the Cube is getting a great version. More than I can say about MGS:Substance on the Xbox.

Sanke Tales and not having to use Raiden made it more than worth it. There was enough new stuff to make it worth buying. All I'm seeing here is a 4 year-old game with the gameplay elements of the two year-old sequel and better graphics.

Uhh, no. The Premium Package is not a system bundle. It's just the game and a bunch of bonuses, just like previous Premium Packages.

Bah, the Snake Tales were really tacked on and rushed. While I never truly expected a full-fledge Plant scenario played from Pliskin's point of view anyway, If they went through the trouble of designing new VR stages, I'm sure they could've done more Snake Tales that didn't take place in the Big Shell all the time. The least they could have done is change the New York background in the Confidential Legacy mission at least.

I seriously don't see how could you think Twin Snakes will be a total rehash, when 90% of Snake Tales was recycled stuff from the main Sons of Liberty game.

Among various images and movies documenting the development of the game, it will also include an emulated version of the original Famicom Metal Gear.

At 21,000 yen, it's way more expensive than the last two premium packages. It includes a console, which is why I want the thing even moreso. It can sit with the MGS2 Premium package

I think I'm almost excited enough by this game to hold onto my GameCube a little bit longer. Wonders never cease with Nintendo.

Meh, missed that part. Kinda stupid really. I don't feel like buying another GameCube (even if it's a Japanese one) just to get a special edition of a game. Why not just include the extras without the console?

With that said, I'm sure this won't be like the Zelda Collector's Set in the US. Japan always get the coolest console designs.
