It's definitely got it's moments, and I by no means dislike the game... but towards the end, it was like is going on here. I hope Snake Eater tries to make some sense of all the Patriot mumbo jumbo they threw at you, but I'm not holding my breath.

The Patriots have been around for more than 200 years upon George Washington being elected as the nations first president who actually had a chance to stop the Patriots once and for all, but chose power like everyone else. They were around before even that as well.

I wished they would've left Chinaman and Oldman in the game (two villains mentioned in the original game plan) and killed Vamp and Fatman instead. They should've kept Vamp female at least.

As a character vamp is pretty good BECAUSE he is so fucking weird. It makes you want to cut through him with a chainsaw.

I liked vamp more than fatman and fortune. But i thought sniper wolf and raven and liquid and maryl and otakon ect were just much better.

Anyone know if they plan on releasing the original Metal Gear game in the USA like in Japan, I would really love to see both Metal Gear 1 + 2 to be honest since it would lead great up to MGS... but having Metal Gear on GameCube is still pretty cool, this would be a great preorder promo if the are, or maybe if they just include it with the game

No word as of yet.

To be honest though, they can keep it. Give us the MSX Metal Gear and Solid Snake so we can have the actual storyline that leads into MGS.

Believe me, I know all about it being set in the 60's and playing as Big Boss. But I still think they might have Snake narrating these events or something, or somehow involve the Patriots in the Cold War. I find it hard to believe they won't touch upon the events of MGS2 at all... why call it MGS3 and totally forget about what you've built up over the last two games?
