Hmm... now I must question if I really want to spend near $300 for a Foxhound GC... Magic 8 ball says "Reply hazy... try again". Thanks Magic 8 Ball.
eh, like i said cool box, but a platinum system with one sticker on it. lame.

ill bet you can find a snazzy static sticker on ebay at some pointanyway the box and extras rock but that system is pitiful
oh well i reserved the us version of the game. have yet to get a GC (waiting on that one in trade depot).
I think www.overstock.com had preorders for this game at like $28.00 something, with a $10 coupon they had listed on the site. Hard to beat that if you can get the deal to work.
Certainly better than a $265 Premium Package
Edit: Nevermind, the $10 off coupon expired yesterday.
$28 total or just to set the preorder? fuck ill cancel mine at gamestop for that price.
edit- dont see a preorder option![]()
It's $38, and yesterday they had a $10 off orders more than $25 going on... alas, no more![]()
The Premium Package is a meh for me. It's lacking in contents compared to the previous Premium Packs. Why bother making a system bundle when at this point, the only people who will buy the game at this point are the already-established GameCube userbase? The only people who will actually buy the bundle are the hardcore Metal Gear freaks with disposable income (which sadly, I don't got). The bonus disc/pamphlet combo might as well had been a pre-order bonus.
The bonus disc sounds shitty to me. Why include the broken NES version of MG? Put both the MSX ones on a disc and maybe I'll care (and even that's reaching, having played them both to death and having them readily availible to me as is). But I don't even want to look at the NES version let alone play it.
My sentiments exactly. I supposed coding an MSX emulator from scratch and getting ASCII's okay would too much for (especially considering the bonus disc is more of an afterthought than anything else), whereas getting an NES emulator from Nintendo themselves cost almost next to nothing.Originally Posted by Frogacuda
