  2. Antenna is a non-issue on mine. I tried and tired to get the bars to drop from holding it. I guess I am the only lucky one on earth!

  3. You're probably very close to a tower. Try somewhere else. I played with my friend's at work and it would lose signal.

Really hard to do for phone and data at a low price.

The Mobile OS race is already completed. Its Blackberry, iOS and Android.

WebOS might be the dark horse in all of this, but thats a big IF.
As a reminder, that 250 txts includes incoming and outgoing. 1 txt for outgoing, 1 txt for incoming.

In regards to Sprint and other carriers, make sure you are able to get reception. I've had Nextel, Tmo, AT&T and VZ. All had horrible service in my house but I can walk around the house with VZ. All others I had to go outside or be near the window/door

I tried a coworkers. Although his did drop but not as drastic as some have taken videos of. His dropped down to 2 bars. Than again, we work in Penn Station in NYC.

I sooooooooo want the new Droid X. However, my contract is not eligible for upgrade until June 2011

  5. I am waiting for Sprint's version of Samsung's Galaxy S, which most likely be Galaxy S Pro, which is so fucking sexy. Samsung will have its big event on Tuesday, doing all the unveiling shit. T-mobile gets their version first, but really FUCK T-Mobile.

  6. Made the switch from Blackberry to Droid this past Thursday.

I'm loving the fuck out of this phone.

Only issue I've been dealing with is battery life. It was acting so bizarre as hell on the first day, but it's gotten a lot better since then.

  7. i can honestly say I perfer my incredible to it. Its too freaking big, and I haaaaaate the changes Motorola made to the OS. But I have to admit HDMI out and DLNA is tits.

  8. Motorola runs stock Android. HTC is the one who made changes to Android with Sense UI. That's the reason HTC phones don't get the updates as fast as Motorola phones. I'm not really a fan of OS overlays but Sense UI is very nice.

Be careful if you plan to root that Droid X. It seems Motorola isn't too fond of such a thing. http://gizmodo.com/5589713/so-motoro...+%28Gizmodo%29

  9. nope the Droid X runs a Motorola specific overlay. Read up on it, its not as bad as MotoBlur is, but its still there and annoys me. I perfer the stock android on my old Droid, but I can live with the Sense UI changes, some things annoy me too, but music player is a billion times better, and some of the widgets are pretty cool.

  10. Ugh, what the fuck? I had forgotten all about MotoBlur too. Like I said earlier, Sense UI is most definitely the exception to the rule. It is very nice to use. The only thing I really want that my Droid doesn't have is more than 3 home screens. I know there are other options like Home++ and things like that but I just want more screens and stock Android. I don't think that is asking too much.
