We really don't know yet, they havent clarified it. I can tell you this, with grandfathered stuff and Verizon..
They let you keep it for forever, BUT if the features need to change for any stupid reason they come up with you are forced out. If I had to put money on it, if you have a data package now on say, a blackberry, you can upgrade to a new BB and keep the plan...BUT if you want to go iphone or 4G, you will be forced into the new packages.
So in other words, might be a good idea to bite the bullet and get one of the medicore 4G phones now, while its still unlimited, because then you can pop your 4g sim into another lte phone no problem..
