I think it looks damn good. I haven't played Tobal 2 but I liked all the other Dream Factory games.

The Tobal series, Bouncer, and Ehrgeiz can collectively suck my sack though.

Gamespot has more info.
From what I read, it's being published by Capcom, distrubuted by Spike, and developed by Dream Factory.
I guess I take this one off of my "interresting" list, because hell, The Bouncer looked cool until I played it as well.

It takes the solid gameplay of the first Tobal, hi res gouraud shaded chars (for that non blocky look) at 60fps, adds new chars, adds grappling, counters, an extensive quest mode, precise timing for certain combos makes it non mash friendly, 200+ unlockable characters, true 3d movement--It really was the most technical and innovative 3d fighter on the PSX but it's a bitch to find.Originally posted by NeoZeedeater

I thought Dream Factory changed it's name to Dream Publishing.
Anyway, the ex-AM2 and ex-Namco employees who made Tobal 2 what it is aren't even apart of DF anymore. Whats left has given such amazing crap as The Bouncer,Kakuto Chojin and a lackluster UFC game whose name escapes me. Scary stuff.
Hopefully Capcom and Spike design the majority of the game/gameplay and that DF just does the graphics or something.
Trés cool.![]()
I'm diggin' the art style. This is what I want the next Streets of Rage to look like.
Oh and for the record, Square fucked up the Bouncer. Kakuto Chojin, on the other hand was Dream Factory's own steaming pile.
Chojin: If you looked at what I posted earlier, Capcom is just publishing it. This game is 100% Dream Factory made.

There are too many games with the word Crimson in the title, my poor brain can't handle this tidal wave.
My friend offered me his copy for $25 before selling it back to a local Microplay.Originally posted by soundwave

I laughed at him.
Do I need to say that I did play it?
With each new generation of poly-rendering, the argument becomes less valid though. So don't worry about me.
