Thread: Best Suikoden Hero

  1. Best Suikoden Hero

See topic. I only played part part 1 myself, so I voted for Tir McDohl, but I've been meaning to try out Suikoden III and track down II when I can.

    Riou? Tir?
When did the I and II characters get names?

I'm insulted at the absense of Flik and Viktor. My choice is Flik, anyway.

  3. Nice G.I. Joe avatar, Johnny.

Dolemite, the Bad-Ass King of all Pimps and Hustlers
Gymkata: I mean look at da lil playah woblin his way into our hearts in the sig awwwwwww

  4. Riou of Suikoden II. Mainly because his storyline and connection with the supporting characters was the most interesting of the three games. I also give honorable mention to Hugo of Suikoden III, or any of the three heroes really, mainly for Konami breaking through the "mute hero" barrier.

I've said it before in a Suikoden IV thread, but I seriously hope the hero in this game is not a mute again. I haven't seen any screenshots of the game with the Suiko IV hero having any dialog, nor did I recall any in the TGS movie I saw.

    Riou? Tir?
When did the I and II characters get names?
I believe they were listed as such in a quarterly Genso Suikoden fanzine put out in Japan by Konami. I might be slightly off, though.

I liked it better as 'Hero' McDohl!

    Anyways... I choose Flik!

Off to Thanksgiving dinner in October I go!

  6. Geddoe was pretty damn cool, I don't remember Suikoden I or II (especially II) all that well anymore... so Geddoe it is.

  7. I havn't got to play the first two but I'd definately say Geddoe was one of the coolest in Suikoden III, although all the characters had their "cool" points

  8. Hey no Nash! He was the main hero in the Genso SuikoGaiden games... he's the man!

But out of those I would go with McDohl

  9. It is not Thomas from S3, thank god you didn't put that up as an option. I almost quit this dumb game (S3) b/c Thomas is such a pussy.

  10. I agree with Werewolf. Nash was the man. But in his abscence, Geddoe.
