    Hehe, I know.

Seriously, though. I hate Limbaugh with a burning passion. I have no doubt that he is a racist scumbag in addition to a drug-addled hypocrite. (Damn, not enough vitriol... hold on...) The man has no talent. I'm sure he even MEANT to be racist with that comment he made.

However, these idiots at ESPN had to have known that with Rush Limbaugh comes this crap. If they say they had no idea, they're lying. Plain and simple. The comment itself is not racist, though. I think he was trying to make a point that there are better quarterbacks than McNabb out there.

On a silly note, he's probably just jealous of McNabb.

  2. On a related note to to the point Limbaugh tried to make: One of the band members of Ace of Base was in a gang as a youth but eventually gave up that lifestyle. Everyone, including the media chose to focus on the negative aspect of that, being that he was in a gang, as opposed to the possitive, being that he was in a gang. He of coarse is white. I'm sure you've all seen how black ex-gang members are treated, like heroes, they're invited to schools to share their stories in an attempt to keep kids out of gangs. Their stories become a TV movie of the week about how they learn that they don't need The Crips to play football for Dallas, they become an inspiration to us all...

    No media bias there.

  3. Ok I haven't read most of this thread . All I have to say is that I'm glad Rush resigned. He had no reason to be on that show in the first place.

It's not a complicated idea. If you don't know jack shit about something, then you can't tell if someone else knows jack shit about it either. "Knowing what you're talking about" and "sounding like you know what you're talking about" are not the same thing.
Plus, I'm not the only person who has said this about him - a lot of people have.
I've heard alot of people say alot of stupid shit before.
But hey, if you dislike the guy, it's much easier just to call him an idiot and not bother with finding out if the guy has any value to him.
He said McNabb's an average QB that people think is good because he's black. I've watched him play alot, and he's very good. Therefore, I can discount Rush's supposed football genuis.

Even black people picked up on that one. I recall Damon Wayans doing a bit about Al Sharpton, on Living Color. He had Sharpton filling his face with Twinkees, as he talked.

What's sad about this thread is that apparently several of you buy into whatever the media says about a player. If we are rating black quarterbacks mentioned in this thread, it goes like this:

    1. Warren Moon
    2. Steve McNair
    3. Daunte Culpepper
    4. Donovan McNabb
    5. Michael Vick

Obviously, Moon is no longer active, so that makes McNabb 3rd out of the black QBs. Now, let's list the white ones who are clearly better than him (in no order):

    Brett Favre
    Drew Bledsoe
    Rich Gannon
    Kerry Collins

That makes him the 7th best, and there are several other white QBs that you could make a case for. Being the 7th best starter out of 32 at any given time means you are not great. In fact, if McNabb weren't black, he never would have seen a Pro Bowl or a Chunky Soup commercial.

You dumbasses that are hung up on the Jay Fiedler comparison don't get it. Fiedler is clearly in the bottom half of the league's QBs, yet his numbers don't just get killed by the "great" McNabb's, especially since we are talking about an uneven amount of games played. No one is saying that Fiedler is better than McNabb. I am saying that if the media wants to raise someone to a level they have not earned on the field, he would be a better choice, if he weren't a white devil of course.

Perfect. I love it when a bleeding heart tries to portray Hollywood as a source of well thought out political knowledge. This just in -- Democrats are not for anything. They are just against the flavor of the month conservative target.
