Gots my copy (along with a plain clothes Joe), good stuff.
Haven't tried it out yet, but I will soon.
Woo!
Fuck.
my store didn't get any games today. Since I preordered it & have already paid it off at GS, I can't go get it anywhere else. This pisses me the fuck off.

The helicopter boss seemed way harder than on the demo, I guess that's logical.
I might have to start over on Kids if I keep getting viewtifully murdered by the second boss the way I have been for the last hour.
EDIT: Nevermind, I was doing something really stupid and took him out with three combos without getting hit.
I like how the ADULTS option flashes like a sex store/strip club sign.
i'm on the fourth level on adult and man, this game gets tough. the fourth level is fantastic, and though it may be stretching it a bit, may be a deliberate nod to a level in silvergun. pretty hectic; i had to take a break.Originally Posted by PaperWork

I'm not gonna post any spoilers, but Adults is already hard... I'd hate to see what's past THAT.

Does the "ADULT" mode feature Joe getting his knob shined in the intro? I heard something to that extent a little while ago, and due to a lack of gamecube I can't really tell if that's the case or not...

I think Joe may be gay.
Any hoo, I got the game today, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.
if so i am blowing up. I am semi friends with the manager, and will tell him if i am being screwed(i noticed the same thing happening to billy hatcher) i can always drive a little further to get to the gamestop / software etc. I buy a lot of games, but i will buy them form somewhere else if this keeps up. there should be enough competition, the mall has a toy store that sells games and a sunday matinee, and literally across the road is a circut city, satan mart, and big stand alone toys are us. isnt that competition?Originally Posted by Mzo

What's the difference? Income. The income for any given household in KoP is leagues above that in my surrounding area of Boothwyn, Wilmington, etc.
Another pricing factor is competition. You said that there isn't a GameStop near you for somewhere around a half-hour? Guess what. You're going to pay for that. Most people aren't interested in driving an extra 30 mins. for a new game, and if they have to spend five extra (or ten in this case) dollars to stay put, lazyness usually wins out.
You should be fine, though, as EB and GameStop both price-match. Add that to the fact that it'll be one of their own stores that they're matching and you should have no problems.
Call around to the other EBs in the area and ask about the pricing. If that fails, call the GameStops. You're bound to find at least one store you can force your EB to match. No Wal-Marts or Targets, though. We never match them.![]()
