The demo requires a DirectX 9 compatable video card. If it doesn't run, you most likely don't have one.

if this is the future, i guess i'll have to replace the crappy geforce4 that came with my last computer all ready...i planned on it, but was waiting until the next gen of cards came out...I have a radeon 9000 pro in my old computer, but i'm sure that is only 8.1 as well...

You should try updating the drivers for you video card, that might work.

The only thing I could really pick at would probably be the lip synching. From what I saw it's a really basic system of just the jaw moving up and down, nothing like the animation in Ratchet and Clank.

it ran half decently on my geforce 2 mx so i was suprised by how optimized the game is graphically. this became my most anticipated game after the mentioned chase scene which was mind blowing. this is one game i will definatly be getting the soundtrack for, amazingly epic music.

mindfield: will the next demo be out before the release date of november 10th? it cant come soon enough for me.

i updated to dx9.0b and updated my video drivers and still nothing...ah, no biggie, i just don't want to miss out being able to play deus ex 2 and half-life 2 on their launch days.

Runs for me but I get serious framerate issues here and there. I don't really get the point of taking pictures but I'm sure that will be explained and elaborated on in the full version. The graphics are beautiful and make great use of soft effects to lend it a more real look, my only problem being the female's pants blantantly clipping like mad whenever you have to stare at her ass as she crouches through air ducts.

The controls are so-so and she seemed pathetically slow with a bit of lag until the rooftop run (which was phenomenal). Hopefully will be a lot better when they get cleaned up.
