I'd love to try this demo out but, unfortunately, my computer is so old (I think there are hamsters inside powering it). I'll wait for the console version.
Oh, and by the way, cool thing on the 6 different languages. I think that should be a feature in more NA released games (especially French and Spanish).
Hrm, I take back the comment about her being too slow, as using the roll during the crouching sections significantly speeds her up. Also, the music is awesome.
I waited for the "Official US Demo", and it STILL won't work!!! I've never experienced problems with playing demos before now, and it's really pissing me off, since I'm really interested in this game.
Is anyone else experiencing problems? Or has anyone got through them?
I grabbed the first demo that some people reported problems with, but it worked fine for me. Anyway, I guess I'm going to be the first to be kind of negative about the game. I mean, I did like some things about it quite a bit; the sound and graphics were good, as was the presentation, but I just found the game to be really, really boring Even the chase scene, though quite impressive graphically, still seemed pretty boring to me. But then again, I really didn't like Wind Waker at all during the beginning, because it similarly threw a lot of stealth at you right at the beginning, and that's one of my favorite games this year, so who knows. I did like Rayman 2 a lot, so here's hoping.
I tried this a few days back. Graphically, awesome. Didn't really notice the music, which is pretty unlike me. Gameplay wise, I got annoyed... not with the game itself but with the PC controls. How they setup the mouse to control the camera felt pretty shitty to me, and I really wanted a controller once the second level started.
So basically, all this demo helped me decide was to get the game for consoles instead. If it's from the guy who made Rayman 2 so damn awesome, I have a lot of faith in the game.
Guys, where can I download a copy of the earlier demo? I downloaded the official one and while it was pretty good, the chase scene you guys can't get over wasn't included.
