I'm going for SSX3. Comes out in about 2 weeks and looks downright sick. I havn't seen enough of 1080 2 to really make a decision on it. SSX online could be unreal online though.

Geeeeeese!
I played a bit of Tricky, and the later stages were incredible in their scope. I've seen that trailer, and it's very impresive what they're doing with the sequel. I've never played 1080 or Amped, but they just don't seem as fun. 1080 is coming out in December last I checked, but I haven't heard anything about Amped 2 for a while. Is it even coming out this year?

Like Tracer said, Amped is a whole different animal from SSX series. I'd probably get Amped 2 if I was to get any, but only if they address some of the more annoying flaws like not being able to see rails until it's actually too late to jump on them and such.

SSX3. 1080 doesn't hold up anymore sadly, even though I swore by it a few years back. The demo was fun, definitely, so I'm sure it'll be a good game. But SSX3 has it bested in almost all categories I think.
haven't really been keeping up that much with 1080, but i gotta have faith in NST.
1080, from the demo they had in stores (which I *ahem* borrowed), was a lot of fun. It'll be hard to say bad things about it if the final product turns out as good as that demo.
While I'm commenting on the other two, I'll say that Amped 2 looks waaay better than the first one. Which is good because I thought the first one sucked (although a lot of people stand by it... I admit to not giving it much of a chance). Awesome Xbox Live support will add a lot to this one, plus XSN is a pretty cool concept.
SSX3 to get my insane tricks on. Plus I love the style of the series.
Amped 2 for XBL play. A lot of my friends here in town liked the first one so there should be competition around here.
1080 dosen't even register on my radar.

I loved 1080 as a more realistic play, but nothing give me vertigo like SSX, especially when the music dims out when you get big air... I love that.
D
SSX3 for sure, but I loved the original 1080 so I'll be keeping an eye on it too.
Well, all three seem different enough to warrant that.Originally Posted by Master
