Thread: Disturbing+Unsettling Movies you have seen.

I Spit on Your Grave was a kinda sick one but I'd have to agree that Wes Craven's Last House on The Left is very tough to watch.

I wonder whats on the Uncut version? BTW they are selling new copies of it at Best Buy for cheap though I imagine its isn't uncut.

Ever hear of the foreign film Leolo? or something like that very disturbing.

  2. These are'nt technically movies, they're more documentaries, but the Faces of Death series really disturbs the hell out of me.

  3. I always found 'Faces of Death' to be comical. *shrug*

I had so many sleepless nights, in fear that "they" where coming to take me away, and that is something that stood with me for a very long time.

I don't even want to mention them but I will name two: I Spit on Your Grave
I heard that movie has the best rape sequences, ever. And that it's more comical then it is disturbing,

  5. How is something a "best" rape scene?

I always heard that 85 percent of the Movie was hoaxed and or staged footage and only a small portion was actual archival footage. That infamous Monkey brain scene was a fraud also glad to hear.

  7. I saw one volume of Feces of Death.

Most of the stuff on it looked real to me. One scene was where a satanic cult was eating a dead human body. The other scene was where a guy was on the electric chair getting fried.

  8. Gummo made me feel bad.

For a great, yet disturbing movie, try Tetsuo: Iron Man. Best use of stop-motion ever. The ending is one of my favorites, too.

  9. The most decievingly disturbing movie of all time is "the secret adventures of tom thumb". sounds like a nice little fairy tale of a story, but its quite grim. I get depressed from watching it.

    Pi is the fucking coolest.

Requiem for a dream was disturbing, but cool. I got the soundtrack not long ago, and i can't listen to it comfortably.

  10. Very Bad Things was quite disturbing to me, as was Training Day, Gummo (i just wanted to smack that kid when his chocolate falls in the water for some reason...), Fire in the Sky scared the living shit out of me as a kid, as did Predator. Pet Semetary was freaky, as was the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I Spit on Your Grave was some shit indeed...but to me, more disturbing are Cannibal Holocaust, Cannibal Ferox/Make Them Die Slowly, and pretty much all the other 70's Italian cannibal films.
