Beat Mushroom, Flower, and Star Cups on 100cc to unlock the Special Cup.
OK, Toad and Toadette are kinda cool. Game still sucks.

it's not a bad game by any means, but it just doesn't compare to anything in the series from what i've played.Originally Posted by diffusionx
i'd give it about a 7.5 so far.
oh, i'd also like to add that considering that this is a Mario Kart game on GameCube hardware, im extremely disapointed. this game really should've been mind blowing.
this game should've been GotY without question.

level design is lacking too, but i've seen some good stuff.
i dunno, from the looks of it though, i see a lot of potential for multiplayer.
lucas, multi si where this game coems alive, i played it with soem friends, and the carnage was nice, the best thing is we could both saddle out respective wife(him) and girlfrind(me in their respective gunner position, and could just drive like heck multi definitly works well.

Even after about 12 hours of play I can't say where it ranks amongst the other games in the series, but am of now I am as hooked on DD as I was on the previous games of the series.
It is definitely a solid update and worthy of the Mario Kart name. It added more to the gameplay than any other update in the series. Its mainly the little things, like how you can blow up the bomb cars on the highway level, or steal items from the other racers. The more you play it the more you appreciate the little additions.
I suppose I can see why some people are dissapointed. EAD is the most prolific racing game developer in the world, so you should expect something absolutely incredible. But I think the jump from MK64 to DD is bigger than say GT2/GT3 or FzeroX/FzeroGX.
Thanks for a serious answer *glares at AFX*Originally Posted by Mzo
