I'm loving it--I just hate that I could come in first 3/4 races, then come in 4th or 5th in one race and lose. Same person comes in 2cd every damn time. (Fuck you, Bowser!)

The more I play it, the more I like it. In the long run though, you have to have friends to play this with to get your money's worth. After getting all the goodies, the only one-player draw is Time Trial. Not everyone cares for time trials, either.

The bomb battle game is the worst game ever designed. Shine thief would be much better on the normal tracks (if that is unlockable, good). Balloon fight is the same old on shitty small maps. Baby Park is better for fighting than any of the battle modes.

The racing is as fun as Mario Kart's ever been, but it's stupidly slow and there's really nothing new here. It's the best Mario Kart game only because it's the prettiest and newest, not because it does anything special or unique.

I like it a lot for multiplayer games whenever I'll have the time, but I'm glad I wasn't the one in my group that ended up buying it.

I haven't even tried out battle mode yet. My friends and I just race. We go through the 16 tracks, and if we still have time, do the same 16 again.

Fortunately my friends are getting better. At first i was winning about 80% of the races, now its down to about 50%. Its more fun that way.

Friend and I unlocked mirror and Luigi's mansion after the exhausting 'All cup' cup. Battle mode definitely benefits from this level, now to get the 64th battle arena...

Complaining about the people who are complaining about Nintendo in this thread is totally called for. Go back a few pages to see all the people bitching about this game after reading the IGN review, but before actually playing the game.

I can understand why some are down on Nintendo these days, but for your sake, as much as everyone else's, do it in a thread devoted to a game you've actually played. Otherwise you are just annoying and pointless.

Exactly. Why does it still go on. There is another thread on the front page (for another system) where a poster did a little trolling. He was told by a moderator to keep that stuff out of there. Good idea, how about keeping it out of all threads.

I've only done three player split screen and we all had our own carts, in the manual it shows four player split screen with four different carts. So, yes.
