Dog's Life

Played a promo earlier this week, I wasn't expecting anything special going by the previews. You take on the role of a dog and everything that comes with it. The game starts with some other dog gone missing. You can take on some sidequests to collect bones, to what purpose I couldn't find out.
Some things made me think of Shenmue, not in a good way I might add, I hope there is a reason why I could get into a beauty shop(for dogs of course) and clean myself up. Hungry? Stand on your backbones and push the button on some Pedigree machine and your snack automatically drops out. I did it once in a store and one employee got mad and called for the dogcatcher, which didn't cause any problems whatsoever, just run around in a circle until he (or his dog) gets tired, blah.

One neat thing is your smell-o-vision, you get a sort of fps perspective where you can see all kinds of scents, alarming thing was that you seemed to collect them but I'm sure that there is something more to it like advanced tracking.

While it was fun runing around and bite chickens, poop etc I do hope that there is something more to it than simple quests and exploring.
Time will tell, as soon as the promo passes my way for a longer period I could give some more impressions, it's not gonna be GOTY but it could bring a fair dose of entertainment for sure.

No idea, but atleast SCEE's president was positive to the game, if it does well then I don't see why not. When are you getting Eye Toy btw?
