How many songs they running total in Extreme home? Anyone got a complete song list with all the unlocks?
Hey, it's certainly better than previous songlists in length.

And please, please, please don't let "Birthday Cake" on JSRF scare you off of that band. Not the best representation of them at all (although the song actually works in the context of the album it comes from).
I own "Viva la Woman" and rather enjoy the song "Birthday Cake" thank you.
I thought you were gay.... i guess not.
Like I said, it actually works in the context of the album. But most people here only know Cibo Matto from JSRF, and many people complained about that song.
I have my first complaint about DDR Extreme.... There might be too many songs! I still haven't even passed half of the songs on heavy. There's just so many to get to.... On other mixes I find a few songs that really stand out and have music/steps that I love, but that's almost hard to do here. I want to keep re-playing songs to get to know them, but those 50 songs I haven't even touched yet are still calling my name, so I don't replay the song and then I forget about it. Kind of a silly complaint, I know, but a complaint anyway. Still a much better situation than not having enough songs.![]()
And so far I haven't seen any Captain Jack, even on repeats. Very odd, especially for a DDR with this many songs.

Konami has an interesting sense of humor. I don't know if any of you caught this, but I just noticed it while playing today. The heavy steps for the remix of the Twinbee music start out with up up down down left right left right. That's gotta' be the dork trivia fact of the year.
And speaking of Konami's sense of humor, I finally unlocked Max. (period) today. I can only beat it on Light, but that song is just obscene. I love how the whole thing is basically a jab at players who keep insisting on harder songs. It is stupidly, stupidly hard and has the phrase "why need this?" (or something along those lines) written in the background. To further drive the point home, the middle of the song slows down (to what the orriginal "ungodly" speed was back in 1998) and throws the orriginal Paranoia steps at you while teasing the Paranoia tune in the background. The point is that Paranoia was regaurded as impossible back in the 1st mix days, and it is laughably easy now, especially in the context of the maddness that is Max. (period). Then after that bit of illustration on just how insane things have gotten, it speeds back up. To 600. beats. per. minnute. AAAAAARRRRRRGH!!!!! Insane!
In other news I have fallen in love with the song list in this game. Over 100 of the 111 songs on here are great.
The entire Extreme arcade song list on a home release is asking for a bit much.Originally Posted by Remy

That looks like a damn fine selection for home, maybe I'll have to give it a go.
Wow. These useless bits of trivia make me want to get a JPS2 even more...Originally Posted by Chibi Nappa

Flip top and a Swap Magic disc.
