Glad to hear, tho kinda comes off ackward. This is a place of bitterness and hate... One here is caught off guard with sob stories .

But, I can empathize; I've lost count how many times I've played the Paul Bearer role for relatives that fell victim to it. Even had a bartender friend that just dropped dead out of the blue from it. I saw him the week before, just a little wobbly, asked what was wrong and he mentioned a slight back pain which was keeping him from being able to stand too long... I come to work a week later, next thing I know, he's dead and I'm at his funeral. Anyway, consider yourself lucky; some don't even get a chance at chemo.

Cancer is a serious thing, and if you're so callous and uncaring that you can laugh in the face of someone who suffered through it and survived, chances are you've never seen what it can do to someone you care about. I've lost a lot of family members to cancer and it's nice to hear about someone surviving for once.

Congratulations on your victory, and I hope you weren't too put off by the assholes, though, I can understand why this wouldn't be the best place to discuss such a thing. Though, what does it say about this board? Beating Shinobi is something worth discussing, but we make fun of someone who beats cancer? Heh... even if this isn't the place to discuss it, that doesn't excuse that kind of conduct.
