No. This theory deals with Metacortex. It's probably not true but I have a feeling it would actually explain things better then the real one is going to.

If the plot leaks are accurate, I'm thinking the story will really blow. If it's more like the first movie, in terms of action and plot, I'll be happy.

I've heard many theories on the matrix (matrix within a matrix, zion is in the matrix, the matrix is full of the AI who lost the war with humans, and so on), and it will be interesting to see if it's a massive cop-out or a movie that redeems the series.

In other words, it's Star Wars Episode III.

Hardly. I woudn't equate the first two Matrix films with that derivative Lucas garbage. George should be embarassed for taking that long to produce movies like THAT. At their absolute best they are mediocre at their worst they are seriously disappointing and III can't possibly redeem them.

It would be great (and fitting!) if the whole Matrix thing was a "reality tv show". Just like, the last 20 minutes would be, "Congratulations Mr. Anderson! You've just participated in "SCREWED UP REALITY", FOX's newest Reality TV series!" and they'd all win prizes or some shit.

I'd find the Wachowski's address, go to their house, break their knees and piss all over their faces if my theory is correct.

I mean in the sense that both series had critically poor 2nd movies (though Matrix got good reviews and TPM didn't), and the 3rd movie is the last chance to redeem the trilogy.

Personally, I think Ep 3 is going to be just a final 'fuck you suckers' and if the plot leaks are accurate, Revolutions sounds on the same level.

I think the 2nd movie in both trilogy's made the first one look better by default, but have low expecations for the 3rd in each series.
