I think the spoilers helped, oddly enough. I knew what would happen months ago, and have damned the thing ever since. My expectations were lowered so much...

But I figured I'd watch it. If only because I've gone through it this far, and I wanted to see the Neo/Smith fight. I think my expectations of the movie being shattered so long ago helped me enjoy, whereas seeing it and knowing nothing I know would have led me to hate because it wasn't what I wanted.

So yeah, decent flick. I'm not gonna bitch about the Neo/Smith fight being DBZish because the last thing I'm going to be stupid enough to say is that I wanted a realistic fight out of the Matrix.

Now, I didn't pay to see it, but I also don't own the first (And my favorite) on DVD, either. I figure I'll go ahead and buy the 87 disk super fanboy cut of the trilogy when it comes out.

I guess that about sums it up.

I, uh, just watched this again illicitly last night and I have to say this much:

It's much worse the second time around. Maybe it was the anticipation of the film that made it seem better than it really was. Blech. I'll take the original any day of the week.

I think revolutions would have worked better if they hadn't cut it to be a sequel, but part of reloaded as a 4+ hour movie.

Oh wait, thats asking the critics too much!
