Yeah right. As confident as I am about the game's quality, I highly doubt there will be a mad dash for the game.

Though, I was surprised by the amount of stores were out of stock of Disgaea.

  2. i just finished the first chapter and got the bad ending

what do i have to do to get good endings?

  3. 1. Disgaea got a limited production run

    2. teh Hardcore gamers bought it up because they dig that stuff

    3. reports of its rarity attracted the attention of ebay sellers

    1 + 2 + 3 = $100 ebay prices within 5 years, methinks.

    ...just my theory

    1) Step on red tiles (not the exits) on the battlefield if you see them. In chapter 1, there were about 3 or so.
    2) Visit the tangent battlefields first.

Requirements and rewards are different for each chapter. At the end of chapter 1, you only missed out on an alternate ending and extra cash. Chapters 4 and 8 are more important--try to level high enough to beat the Lv40 whale and Lv100 tree.

  5. so there is no going back and making it better? If i miss the ending and bonuses they're gone? If so i may start checking guides to be sure i have everything before i beat chapters.

Don't get too concerned. Just look for red tiles during battle and red dots on the world map. I missed a lot in the J version... only the warp drive is a must-have.

You're buying a new game? What a huge fucking surprise.

I don't get the sarcasm. We all buy games at a relatively decent pace. Why pick now to mention his buying habits?
