Am I the only person who refuses to get rid of old games no matter how little I play them? I recall returning DOA:XVB the FIRST DAY it was out (worst 'game' ever). I prided myself on having not re-purchased it for a year...until I bought a NM copy off a customer this last January. Ach!

Seriously, for me, half my enjoyment in this hobby is collecting/sorting/learning about games. Spending an afternoon re-sorting my collection by theme/date acquired, whatever, is more fun than slogging through Xenogears or any of the other countless titles I've yet to finish.

You know, I tried La Pucelle in the store tonight before I settled on buying it, and I fell instantly in love with it. This game kicks Disgaea square in the crotch. Much more fun, much less aggrivating. Leveling is a pleasure, as opposed to the chore it was in Disgaea, and the combo system is one-hundred billion times better than that random crap in Disgaea. I am well pleased.

Ripoff?! No way! I've been recycling the same $50 bucks for months now. It's a huge money saver.

Not to mention the fact that I get bored with certain games faster than others. It's a great way to turn otherwise boring games into new, exciting ones!

except not everyone works at a gamestore whose manager is willing to break company policy all the time


for the rest of the world most the time a game they bought for 50 is worth 10 - 15 bucks a few months later as a trade in or at most 20 - MAYBE 25 right when they come out
