Hmm, I know that she got the gun from the guard, but I am not sure about the cell phone. I want to believe that it also came from the bad guy, otherwise it would have been stupid error of Saunders to not to check for it.

And dont worry about Tony. Jack and Palmer will find the way to turn Tony's actions into something more heroic, and everything will be happy again.

I am not complaining because CTU attack team pwned the Saunders team. Hell yeah, they had much more advantage of unexpected attack and more firepower. Its the friggin execution of the moment what was bad. Pleasy 24 producers, get a GOOD action director for the next season.

I mean, Jack was awesome in action in Season 1, especially at the end with 2 guns blazing, and so was he in Season 2 with Commando assault after plane crash, fight through the building with Yusef and Commando team leader and Final Stadium battle, where jack does kick-neck break.

This season, aside from Jack doing some cool knife work when they assaulted Salazars, action SUCKED. Showing 2 sides fire at each other, with no real sense of excitement is lame.

Some more 24 commentary. Not mine, but it makes alot of sense:

"I won't bring up the fact that David Palmer--a man with more integrity than the rest of the characters put together--has reached the point where he'd rape and murder your grandmother for the sake of his career, and yet his downfall carries NO dramatic weight or tension.

I won't mock the fact that after Jack ambushes Tony, they happily make their way to the phone booth together, although any supervillain worth his weight in plutonium would have had the fucking booth watched.

I won't wonder why that particular phone conversation had to take place in a phone booth instead of a cell phone...sure, it's untraceable, but then SAUNDERS CALLS TONY BACK ON HIS CELL PHONE AGAIN, which kind of renders the first twenty minutes pointless.

I won't laugh at how ridiculously easy Michelle's escape was, or wonder why this tough superchick with a gun never considers DOING HER GODDAMN JOB AND SHOOTING THE FUCKING TERRORISTS. I guess it's okay to kill average joes to save the world, but not the bad guys.

And most of all, I really won't laugh about the single dumbest plot point of the season, the fact that Jack forces Michelle to surrender in order to carry out the transaction. I won't ask why the SWAT team and Jack just didn't go over and kick Saunder's ass, since they were only *four minutes away*, they had the element of surprise, and Saunders was distracted searching for Michelle.

And that's just the bad shit off the top of my head.

  2. I saw only the first 8 minutes and the last 8 minutes. Sounds like I didn't miss a damn thing.

Anyone catch the previews of next week, with Jack forcing Saunder's daughter into the contaminated quarantine zone while Saunders watches? Ha! What a fucking badass.

Edit: Ah. I now see that Duck-boy brought it up. Regardless, there are only 2 episodes left and we need unanticipated deaths.

Well yay to that. I'm glad she's fucking dead. I thought it was an overall good episode, though not too exciting except for the subway scene and when Jane Saunders was about to enter the hotel. Too bad they pussied out, though if they put her in there the story would have probably gone to shit.

  6. Man! I was laughing out loud when Foxton lay the smackdown on Lady MacPalmer. Anyone care to make a screencap of that?

  7. Man, Oh Man. Season 3 continues to SUCK, and it seems that with each episode, it gets more stupid and sucks even more

Way to go to pussy out cool Saunders. Oh No Jack !!! Dont kill my baby Jane. I will tell. I will tell. Blech. Yet another rip-off from the Season 2, where Jack did the same think to Arab terrorist. But then it was ORIGINAL. Now, its yet another thing that 24 writers couldnt handle right.

As it was said few times before, If Saunders cared about Jane so much, then WHY THE FUCK he release the virus in the city near where both HIM and HER live??? In real life both wouldnt be even in the country. But no, and since the screenplay demanded him to be captured he even went to retrieve her himself. Another blech.

And now happy CTU teams all over the country picking up all the terrorist in MERE minutes. WOW, when show runs out of time, things are always get streamlined really fast. Where were the resources before, when they spent SEVERAL episodes hunting poor Kyle?

And YEAH, lest continue the Evil Sherry storyline, that we all sure CARE about. And whats even better, lets bring JULIA !!!! back. So she can waste more time crying about HER OWN FUCKING STUPIDITY !!!! Oh god, I'm so glad that they both DEAD !!!!

But now Palmer with cry and moan half of the finale about his being a cause of these deaths !!!!

Best part of the episode Foxton punching out Sherry. Classic !!!!

I did like Tony's scenes, and it is sad that he gets all the heat now. Jack got lucky last time, but its the Jack.

Oh, Jack MENTIONED his HEROINE ADDICTION !!! WOW, he still remembers. And I thought it joined the ranks of Tony's Super Healing

Just one more hour, and WOW the got to disarm the bomb thatm might kill them both !!!! Somehow I dont give a fuck anymore

    Eh?

Those dudes are bagmen, not supervillians. I think that's the point, that they are alone so that there isn't anyone else who knows where they go, seeing how Saunders didn't even tell a few of them anything beyond 'find a populated area'.

24 has always had and always will have a certain amount of nonsense-camp in it. That's just how it goes.

Santa Barbara isn't close to SF or LA. It's 90 mins away from LA and about 4 hours south of SF. This virus isn't Captain Trips, and weren't the total deaths supposed to be 'a few million' then 'a few hundred thousand' not anything like 99.4.

I guess it's easy when you know where they are exactly due to a GPS signal. That's not too far fetched. Call 911 and say you are going to kill your wife, even with a simple phone ID the police will be there in under 5 minutes.

That was a lot goofy. They put too much Palmer filler in this season and had to end it quickly, which never works well.

  9. Well, Even if Santa Barbara not that close to LA, it still unbelievable that Saunders would have his daughter in the country, state and near cities of where he was planning few major attacks, especially using uncontrolable viral agent.

Plus he himself still sitting in the damn middle of it. Sure we can cut 24 some slack once in a while, but few things are just silly. But on the other hand, the evil baddie of Season 2 also was in LA while they were planning to detonate that nuke there. So I guess it goes with 24 tradition.

  10. I now know who to blame for stopped trains, traffic jams, and probably the grocer's strike as well. Fucking Chloe.
