  2. Yes, Both Sherry and Nina were representations of ultimate evil in 24 timeline. They returned again and again, which was good for writers convinience, when they wanted to throw some chaos into the storyline, and felt bored to introduce new villians. Since nothing is better than established villian that viewer audience already grown to hate.

But I believe that the only reason why both were brought into the play this season is to tie loose ends. At least Nina's storyarch in Season 3 didnt sucked as much as Sherry's and Miiliken cover up.

  3. What is Next for 24?

A Comic Book graphic novel, which is a prequel to Season 1 !!!

"As you learned last month, IDW Publishing will be releasing a one-shot issue based on the hit Fox television series "24" called, appropriately, "24: One Shot." It's an all-new story worked up specifically for this comic by writers J.C. Vaughn and Mark L. Haynes. CBR News spoke with Vaughn and Haynes to see what we can expect with "24: One Shot."
"CTU agent Jack Bauer has to protect a beautiful terrorist, who up until this point has been among the worst of the worst," Vaughn told CBR News. "Her name is Moira O'Neal, she's from an IRA splinter faction, and things in her life have brought her to a point where she's changed, or at least seems to have changed. Now her former friends want to kill her. All this on Jack's first day at CTU."

"But it's not going to be typical first-day-on-the-job," continued co-writer Haynes, "since we're talking about Jack Bauer and, man, does he hit the ground running! The story is set about eighteen months prior to the events seen in Season One so we get to see some familiar faces. The titular 'One Shot' comes in as Jack battles to protect Moira and his team and slowly runs out of ammunition until he gets down to the crucial 'one shot' at the story's climax."

  4. Several CTU members may not be back
Monday, May 24, 2004 Posted: 8:51 AM EDT (1251 GMT)

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- "24's" Counter Terrorism Unit will undergo some major downsizing this fall.

Sources said that the actors who play Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) CTU colleagues on the Fox drama have been informed that their options as series regulars will not be picked up for next season.

Reiko Aylesworth and James Badge Dale, who play CTU members Michelle Dessler and Chase Edmunds, respectively, received the news just as they were to attend the Fox party after the network's upfront presentation to advertisers last Thursday, sources said.

The two, as well as Carlos Bernard (aka CTU's Tony Almeida), could return to the real-time drama next season for guest appearances.

Also up in the air is the "24" future of Mary Lynn Rajskub, Zachary Quinto and Daniel Dae Kim, who played CTU members on a recurring basis.

Meanwhile, Elisha Cuthbert, who plays Jack's daughter and CTU analyst Kimberly Bauer, is fielding film offers and is expected to recur next season subject to her availability. She was most recently in theaters playing a former porn star in "The Girl Next Door."

    Hardcore.
Only question: what the fuck are they sewing back on for Chase? His infected arm? And how the hell was that trophy case air tight..
Still. Hardcore. He cut Chases' arm off. Sucks that Chase won't be back next year.

  6. Next year better just be out in the field the whole time then. Put him in the jungle and make him Snake. That's the only way I'll tune in regularly again. The guy already IS Snake, so just fucking do it. Make it Metal Gear - The Series, and maybe with Palmer out of the way we can have a nice, corrupt government. Stupid black guys, always doing the right thing.
So I forced my hands in my pockets and felt with my thumbs and gallantly handed her my very last piece of gum.

Chase's hand never got infected. The vial didn't explode anywhere near him.

And it didn't look like a trophy case to me. It looked like a refrigerator, which would be air tight to keep the cold in.

  8. I'm hoping next season will finally tell us what's the deal with Mr. Max and Germany.

  9. Chase's Big Chop: Rocked. The end of the ep was slightly anticlimatic, after Shari dying. But the arm chop was very neat indeed.

Meh, I like this season's mellow ending. I was getting tired of the previous seasons' cliffhanger endings where they leave you wondering all summer and are subsequently forgotten in the following season. For once,a 24 season actually had some closure in it.
