So, I watched this tonight for the first time. Am I missing out on stuff from previous seasons, or is it meant to just be vague at first?

Ok that was a messed up episode

Jack's got a drug addiction, what the hell is up with Kate Warner, how did Kim become some computer wizard... that wasn't the impression I got from her from the first two seasons, Palmers alive... what the hell happened to him and caused that scar?!

So many questions and that commercial was even lamer then expected

I taped it but havent watched it yet. Once dj goes to bed, and frees the tv, I will be there

Nice to have the first episode commercial-free. Not much to say, other than it looks like the typical intriguing start to yet another season. Endless plot twists guaranteed. Keifer has the requisite intensity down pat.

Werewolf: The latter part of your spoiler was pretty much a straight extrapolation from the end of Season 2 with (of course) a few unanswered questions.

Sure was a lot of love in this episode. Glad Bauer's still walking around unfettered. Can't wait until people start dying.

I dunno, I think this was a much weaker premeire than the first two seasons of 24. The sense of urgency wasn't as intense and Kim's new role is puzzling to say the least.

It's still better than whatever else is on, though, and I expect it'll improve over time.

Ok, Just finished watching the tape. As always when I talk about 24 spoilers are abound, so dont read if you dont want to know

I think overall it was pretty good episode. This time around they are tackling the bio terrorism angle, and while the first episode may not be as extreme and urgent as last case with the Nuke, the possible scare and danger might be as big as last time.

Jack has moved in Mason office, and his acting still great. Hopefully we will get to know more of the backhistory of Salazar case, and what Jack had to go through with them, but it left him torn, and sick. I aslo wonder how is his heart doing, after 3 years. It was wild to see Jack fighting the temptation to shoot up, and Kim calling in the wrong time as usual Mason's office got a cool new black out blinds though, come in handy.

Jack didnt get much action this time, but in the future they showed him do plenty of running, and shooting, so its all good.

Glad that they kept Palmer alive, him and Jack are to people 24 wouldnt be the show it is. Both recover from the sickness, and got to stay strong. Palmer preparing for another run for the chair, and in the mean time apperantly having some lovin with his doctor He got him a new assistant though, is he his Brother, since I recall the guy also named Palmer. Palmer hand and arm still scarred by the attack, and hopefully just like in Jacks case, we will know more about what happened to Palmer in last 3 years.

Now about Kim. Oh My, from being chased by mountain lions to the computer expert. Only on 24 Still, nice to see her, and hopefully she had wisen up in the past 3 years. She does still look good, and I cant wait to see more running I feel sorry for poor Chase though, since bad things are bound to happen to him as we all well know about Kims curse Anyway, her scenes werent all that big, but did show her in different light. We shall see where it will go.

Tony and Michelle is a loving couple But apparently Tony is about to move on, but doesnt want to leave Michelle behind. Not much screen time for them though.

New player Chase enters the scene. What exactly is his position in CTU, is he Jack'c assistant or something, since he sits close to Jack's office, and comes in time to time to give Jack lecture on life
He also Kim's new bf, so as I said in Kims paragraph, bad things are about to happen to him

I liked new villian Salazar (aka Bucho from Desperado ). Pretty cool move with the pen, to get rid of the lawyer(but I predicted it when the scene started), and he got tough attitude, and as Jack informs, you cant really break him, not even by the death threats to his family. Interesting, how they will expand on his character during the season.

Salazar brother is in charge of running things now, but unlike Salazar Hector seems to be weaker, and his girlfriend kinda whipped him a bit Hopefully Jack gets to kick his ass by the end of the series.

Ok, WHo else - oh the kid with the bag of virus coke. Hmm, Another kid in trouble, used by terrorist for evil deeds like in 1st season. We shall see where it goes.

They also mentioned that Palmer went after his attackers, even when he was sick, and they captured the guys responsible for attacks in Season 2, but I wonder if they will shed more light on that(which I doubt), since it left somewhat a hole at the end of last season.

New Computer guy Brian is control freak asshole. It was pretty cool and somewhat unbelievable for Kim to cancel guys network access. Hopefully he gets a virus, or Jack kicks his ass or something. Bad things happen to CTU computer people if you know series history

Anyway, cant wait for the next episode
