I have to agree with aurora. sharks numbers are dwindeling from pollution and overfishing, yeha, its tough to kill a shark, but this animal was trying to get away from him,and he attacked it and killed it. Im not some anti-hunting guy, but this just seems like a guy trying to prove how tough he is by killing a scared animal that wanted nothing to do with him,and now he wants to go kill a bear, i am assuming he means unarmed, cool for him, im am pulling for the bear to rip his head off. if you are a fisherman, then fish(maybe not of species that are dying out) but dont expect me to be impressed because you were playing macho and stabbed a shark to death. Heres one for him, go into a local ufc training gym,and challenge the most powerful guy there to a fight, he wont be as big or have the teeth of a shark, but at least he will know he is in a fight! <End of rant>

ok, i just reread it and saw the part about the trawlmen(not a particularly familiar word). i had figured that he was fishing for the sharks with the whale's blood as chum, but am i to assume that he was fishing for whales? if so, i reiterate my support for the polar bear, do we need to be fishing for whales in this day and age? like we havent overfished them enough,if its shark vurses whale fisherman, i will pull for the sharks, kill the ignorant fuckers. was killing the shark the only option to protect the trawlmen? There was no way to chase them off without killing them?
