Scary Movie 3 thread

So, I completely forgot that it opens today, until I visited Ebert's review page. I wasnt a huge fan of previous entries in the series, but found some of what they had funny, but many people didnt.

Part 3 is set to try to change the everything, with new director, team and approach. Less gross out jokes, and more classic Naked Gun & Airplane goofiness, including Leslie Nielsen.

I am willing to give this a try, but unfortunately wont be seeing it in the theaters. But I do look forward reading some impressions from people, who would go see it.

The Leslie Nielsen part made me laugh in the preview. I'm a pretty big fan of Charlie Sheen's comedic roles, so I'll probably see this at some point.

The fact that those assholes, the Wayans Brothers, are not involved in this movie in any way automatically make it certain to be 1,000,000x better than Scary Movie 1 & 2 combined. Scary Movie 2 is the least funny "comedy" ever made.

The fact that Zucker is directing just seals the deal. This movie's going to be a riot. I love how he's bringing in all his regulars (Charlie Sheen, Leslie Nielson, etc.)

I wanted to see this in theatres but I'm going to have to pass. The trailer is really fucking funny though.

it's good stuff, but i wouldn't say it's better than the other two. maybe it's the films they spoofed, but it just didn't have that same feeling as the others. a lot of hilarious shit in it though, like the rap battle (Simon Rex and Don Cartegena tore it up!), and the spoof of Signs of when the wife got trapped between the truck and tree. worth checking out though.

Hey I heard pretty much all of the "Orpheus" scenes got cut from the final. Is this true? If it is, I'll have to renew my objection to watching any scary movie movies...

Not a fan and I dont remember which film had him but the gimp handed guy was brilliant...
