So is it 1996 or 1997? That site says both. Just because it was copywritten in 96 doesn't mean that it wasn't released til 97. I'm not arguing with you on this, I just want to know the facts.

I think it was 1996, but release date for some PCBs is very hard to precise exactly. What is sure is that the SS version is a port of it (Atlus was even giving one PCB full with arcade joysticks kit with the game's launch). And I can't see the problem here. Console to coin-op ports are much more rare cases than the opposite.

I don't doubt that the SSversion is a port of the arcade version. Also, a fellow at gamefaqs also says that the SS version features fewer frames of animation. That's also not hard to believe as the Saturn version is a tad jerky. But still fun!
