Well, Didnt care about getting it launch, since there were barely any games out that time, so I just waited till next spring and picked it up with Onimusha and bunch of other games.

I got mine about a year and a half after release. Mostly for GTA3, later picked up Rez, Mark of Kri and a bunch of other good games and have been happy with the purchase ever since. Luckily, despite it being a "refurbished" unit, I've avoided the dreaded disc read errors and any other problems with it. To that I say:
"Hell yeah I suck toes!"
Man time flys...I remember importing the Japanese version before it came out in North America...so it's been even long for me...

What is worse is realising how your calculating your time... the length of a console release.
What is even worse... I got a DC jp at the jp release date. It is still working, and better than my PS2 is. Take that sony!
