  2. I've always known Sapp was scum, ever since he "accidentally" put out Steve Young and Jerry Rice in the same game, very nearly ending Rices career and effectively ending Youngs

and yeah i saw that jordan/sapp one. i just assumed they both shared the clothing line and never took it like they meant sapp was the "jordan of football" but now that i think about it thats what it really seems like. a VERY bold statement for sure.
If you mean Lebron James, then yea, he's being heralded as the second coming. He's also in an NBA commercial where the kids are making fun of him because he never went to college, lol. Shaq is in a similar one, as well.

I hate Warren Sapp as much as the next guy, but in this case it really is the rest of the world that is all wrong.

  5. I'm assuming you guys are talking about his ESPN interview where he called the NFL office "slavemasters" and they should be allowed to take their helmets off because no other sport has their players face covered. Pretty ironic that the game against the 'Boys he was chasing down Quincy Carter with no helmet on.

  6. No Hot, he made that statement way earlier... the ESPN Interview was more of a chance for him to clarify or whatever. I saw the ESPN interview today, and it was typical bigmouth Sapp bullshit. He was just talking bullshit, talking about how he's a slave, and Irvin had a good point - you're getting paid millions of dollars, you're no fucking slave.

And if the NFL was so intent on keeping players behind this "shield" he talks so they can't become famous on their own, then how would he have any endorsement deals? How the fuck would he be on the cover of ESPN NFL Football? How the hell can people talk in hushed tones about Unitas, Montana, Young, Smith, Elway, Sanders, and Brown? How the hell can people talk up Vick and McNair like they're the second coming?

Oh, because Sapp's a bit fat piece of crap who runs his mouth without thinking first. The guy is fucking ridiculous, and even worse, he has NO IDEA what he's talking about.

Klonoa, that article is fucking horse shit, and totally Warren. The guy puts himself above any others, he doesn't give a fuck about fans, about nothing, but himself and how much notoriety his fat ass got. But people keep putting the mic in front of him, so he's gonna keep talking shit.

And, to top it all off, he sucks.

    Fuck him.

Y'know? Like Derek Jeter is better than Barry Bonds?

Warren Sap is better than Mike Vick? Or Brady?

    Please that is all bullshit.

I didn't see the Warren Sapp one (and I will admit that he thinks he's the greatest thing to hit organized competition since Keyshaun Johnson) but I did see the other ones with Jeter and Carmelo Anthony and I think you're missing the point.

Carmelo Anthony goes on and on about how he *doesn't* have the achievements of Jordan. Jeter talks about his average, and for the record, he's a better hitter than Jordan.

The whole point is that while these guys *aren't* Michael Jordan, they don't have to be, because they're still pretty fantastic athletes. They know they're not Michael Jordan.

    Except for Sapp, maybe.
