Acclaim did it with Ikaruga, but Acclaim is a MUCH bigger company so they probably could afford to take the risk.

However, after looking at previous Xs releases (MLF, MLF2), it seems that the inclusion of TATE mode in SNS2 is unlikely.
Hopefully the protests received by them (mine included) will prevent the Tate from going bye-bye this time. SCEA have always been dicks about this since Raiden Project. Perhaps the fact that Xs now deals with Microsoft and not Sony on this game could improve things.Agreed.

I don't see why you even care, unless you try to support shmups if they make it to america too. I allways end up sounding like a bloody troll but I can't see how anyone cares about xbox versions of shooters and fighters either (I guess netplay is nice for fighters), I mean if you don't have a chipped or JP PS2 by now you(not meaning you dude) don't really care that much.

Fully aware of that JM (after all, except for two months I've been living on wellfare for over a year which means that I have pretty small founds to move around with). Everyone likes stuff to be cheap of course but reading posts that complain about PS2 games not being available domestic gets tiresome after a while and makes one think that it's not that important to people.

Usually it is more an economic issue with me, I love new shooters, but Shiki 2 & Psy 2 came out not too long after Border Down, so my import funds were kind of low. I had to skip them with plans of getting them at a later date. If it does come out here, as a budget title, I'l just consider myself lucky & not complain about the changes made to the title.

For $10, they can butcher it all they want. For $20, I expect a perfect translation, with dubs, and fan subs, and a back rub.
