There's absolutely no way I'd be able to survive my workload if not for smoking. All nighters with no chance to nap and no food require it.

Or I could balance my work like a sane person. That too.

    p.s. go with lucky strikes

No joke. I really like those lightly carbonated flavored waters. I've had Clear American and the Sam's Club brand, assuming that was a different brand, and they were both really good, and come in a wide variety of flavors. Good stuff. And they never upset my stomach like some sodas do.

And considering I'm lactose intollerant, I figure I should throw the soymilk option out there. I don't know a lot of people who do drink milk regularly, but if you do, it's a healthier option, I guess.

I stick with the chicken, and sometimes steak bits. I try to never eat the grown beaf. I don't trust any meat that is grownd up to a point of being a powder.

  3. I need to second (or third) the enhanced water suggestion - I tried Gatorade's lemon flavored Propel tonight and it had to be the greatest beverage I've ever consumed. And it's packed with vitamins, and only has ten calories a bottle.

This thread got me back on the fitness bandwagon. I've been busting my ass in the gym the past few nights. Thanks all!

Yeah, Taco Bell's "grown beaf" is pretty bad. The steak and chicken are okay, though! Seriously, the food's not as bad as people make it out to be, but if you can get real Mexican foods where you live, I could see it not looking very appetizing. I think even Del Taco is a notch above Taco Bell.

But I do have a soft spot for bean burritos. Delicious vomit-like refried bean paste~~~ Amazing.

Oh, you haven't seen anything yet, buddy! If you can find berry-flavored Propel, stock up. I think it's been discontinued. However, it's an amazing drink, my favorite flavored water ever. I would drink gallons of it if I could.

In addition to that and on the Gatorade subject... There was a flavor of Gatorade Frost that looked like cloudy dishwater, but was delicious. It had a slight citrus flavor, like a watery citrus sort of thing. I liked it a lot, but I think it was killed off. A few months back I discovered a Japanese drink, Pocari Sweat, that tastes just like it. Does anybody know if there's another readily-available American product that tastes like that? Does anyone even know what I'm talking about? Pocari Sweat is way too expensive here, but it fills the gap that Gatorade left. I suppose there's always the mix... that's somewhat more economical. Still not ideal, though. Maybe if I could buy cases online or something...

  5. Personally I think the chicken and steak tacos at the Bell are the most healthy fast food items you can find. Maybe Subway is up there too, but that's about it. I actually prefer Taco Bell to authentic Mexican food.

I debated between the berry and lemon flavors of Propel tonight. I went with the lemon because every other berry themed water drink I've tried tastes like diluted soap. But I'll give it a try.

It's been a while since I had Pocari Sweat, but I remember it tasting like diluted Red Bull. So you might want to try that... although, even diluted, Red Bull will end up costing more than Pocari.

Now if I could only find a cheap substitute for Calpis...

I can't say I find the flavors similar, but I'm going to go hunt for that Gatorade soon. And if all else fails, I'm going to try my hand at using the Pocari Sweat mix and water bottles. If I can find a funnel and the right ratio, I will be set for life!

I drink too much Red Bull as-is. I'm going to have a heartattack within a year, I think.

I just got back from Cherry Mart, and god damn it, it was cold and rainy as hell. But I needed more Pocari Sweat. I'm a sad, sad man. I forgot to buy powder, too. I was in a hurry to get back. Next trip.

But I did have the foresight to buy a bottle of Calpis Water. And...

This... is amazing. Milky, but not heavy like milk... smooth, sweet.

At $1.80 a bottle, I will drink this. I will drink the hell out of this.

I'm going to start bringing my backpack for my weekly trips up there.

strange, i tried the black cherry propel at my store, and the flavor seemed kind of light for me, but this is good, if you want a lighter flavor, propel, if you ned more flavor, try the clear choice/clear american/american fare stuff.
and good to see you started working out, your body will thank you.
