Well, I got the PC version yesterday and compared to the Xbox version (demo), control-wise, the PC version smokes it.

And the PC version probably looks much better, and is $10 less.
I did have a fun time with the Xbox demo. I will probably pick up which ever version hits $20 first. My PoS is too high to buy another game at full price.

I don't know how long this game is, but i'm a few hours into it and I would definatly recommend it. The graphics are sort of a mixed bag, at times they are excellent and then you watch a cinema and it's blocky and kind of gross. Luckily the game is quite humourous.
If you liked the Mech parts of Giants, you'll probably eat this game up. So far it isn't as funny as Giants because of a few stupid characters, but there are definatly some very funny moments to be had.
Once you get the jet pack the game gets really fun, and adds some variety to your missions, it is implemented very well. The missions where you are in a gun turret and have to subdue thousands of soldiers from storming your base are nice diversion from the main game.
Your sidekicks are pretty much useless aside from an ocasional funny quip during battle, they seem to just run around and ocasionally shoot a bad guy. They've died on almost all of the missions i've played with them.
Now if my stupid xbox didn't give me a disc read error in the middle of an intense firefight in the mission i'm on, i'd be set.

I'm liking it so far, I'm about 80% through and boy has it been quality times. The controls, levels and characters are all wonderful and it's the funniest damn game ever! I highly recomend it to anyone that likes a good third person shooter/action/star wars making fun of type... thing. Point is... go buy this game so I can see a sequal.

Yeah, I hate how blocky the cinemas are, but since it's really the only outright bad thing about the game, I'll live. Just a fun, insane game. And the weapons are groovy too.
