Well, I know its available on HK dvd with english subs, but I went with Mech's way, since I cant buy anything nowdays.
Pretty creepy movie, and while I watched it without subs, it still had plenty of scary moments, creepy atmosphere and sounds, and the groaning woman ghost and freaky kid, were scary. While the story is simple and pretty much is about the curse and how it affects the people who comes in contact with it, it still delivers plenty od scares.
Any set of subs should work, as long as they match the number of files that the version of the movie you have in .avi has (most subtitles are in .srt format anyway). So, two "discs"/files, two sub files. The sub file needs to have the same filename as the video file you're using it with, aside from the extension. When you open the file, if you right-click on the Media Player window, there should be an option called "Languages" that will open up a popup where you can enable subtitles.
