Official Haul Thread: November edition.

Mission 7 and 7X, should you decide to take it, will pick up the difficulty a little. I made a few mistakes in my planning that cost me the lives of Will and Flolin. I'm going to replay these missions and plan better next time.

Just keep in mind to deliver the killing blows with your underdeveloped characters. I'm looking at some of my characters levels and I've got a few at levels 4-6 and alot at levels 1-2. Gotta work on that.

Back on topic though, I traded in a few games and I've gotten Mario Kart and Mario and Luigi paid in full. I also have enough trade in credit for one more title, so I don't know what to do. I'm thinking of either:

GTA: Double Pack - Xbox
Prince of Persia - Xbox or GCN
Beyond Good and Evil - GCN

Any suggestions would be great.

From what I've heard on this board about the GTA Double Pack, from Melf, is that it's a really bad port all around. I'd steer clear of it, based on those impressions. Can't go wrong with either of the other two games, though.

This Tuesday, I'll get Fire Emblem, Double Dragon Advance, True Crime, and I'll subscribe to NP to get that Zelda bonus disk.

It's not a bad port, just lacking some cool things that could have made it so much better. If you liked the PS2 ones, you'll love the Xbox games.

After reading the impressions of the Xbox double pack, I might just snag them for $30 down the road, or rent them to try them out. I saw the cases at BlockBuster today and was happy to see them use the default Xbox packaging. Anyhoo, I snagged Nine Months last night from Wal-Mart for $6, along with Cast Away, which was $8. I was this close to snagging an Arnold flick, Hercules in New York, but opted to stick with good movies. I'll be adding a couple of Lupin DVDs to this haul thanks to VGD's amazing pre-Christmas sale, which will let me snag two Lupin DVDs used for the price of one new.

Sonic and Knuckles (beat to hell, but I wanted it) -$4

N.O.S. Sega Genesis 6 button pad - $2.99

so far thats it. Maybe Top Spin next week.
