    but by that time we may see it release here on the PS2

    i have played 2002 and i agree its the best in the series since 98 but i dont know if its worth 60 to me with so much else out and coming out

  2. I own the DC versions and still got the double-pack. SNK (and the industry) needs to see that there is $$ to be made in localizing 2D fighting games on the consoles.

    I don't wish to buy two games I already own, just for some "cause". Samurai Shodown 0 was already confirmed for the US I thought, as well as SvC, so I'll support those, instead.

    I'd rather save my money for some good games I'd enjoy. SVC is utter ass, I wouldn't touch the home release.

    If Capcom ever released a SF3 compilation for a current system, I'd buy that NEW and right NOW (despite my owning the 2 DC releases), because I don't only like 2D fighting games, I like GOOD 2D fighting games.

    On the other hand, buying it supports SNK's never ending rehashing of the same series/genre.

    It bugs me that 2d fighters and shooters have survived yet 2d platformers, a genre I love much more, have been shit on. If 2d is destined to die that's fine, but let it die equally among all genres.

    Anywhere? I think the fighting game market is doing pretty good in Japan, regardless of whether I buy this double pack or not.

    Isn't the Guilty Gear series destroying SNK over there anyways?

    They also need to see that there isn't money in watered down censored versions since there's no excuse for it in this market. I will definitely not be spending my few dollars on this.

  9. I'm guessing SNK-P's delays of the US release of Metal Slug 3 are including a blood-for-sweat transfusion. Yay. I had hoped that SNK-P's sudden reinterest in releasing games in the US would include some newfound understanding of the market, and a realization that editing their games is hardly necessarry, compared to the games that are already on store shelves.

    I'm losing interest in their efforts here. I'll either get Metal Slug 3 whenever I get around to modding my PS2, or forget about it alltogether. Their delays and editing process aren't helping.

  10. I wonder if in SvC they'll take out the whole heaven and hell levels, since that could be "cause for concern", as well as editing Mai's boobs and giving us the sweat.

    Can't wait to see what SamSho 0 is gonna look like in the US.
