Heh, not suprised made spelling mistakes. I only got about four hours sleep due to Morrowind. And if you think the essay is something, imagine things like that happening to you at least once _every single day_. It was even worth upgrading my PC for.
To Gongos:
Let me introduce you to my little friend, the Creeper. He's a badass scamp merchant who lives in a orcish manor in Caldera. He buys things at full value, but only has 5000 gold on him. The way around this is sell him something worth 5000, wait a day for him to get his 5000 back, then buy your item back. Now he has 10000 to spend. Rise and repeat as much as needed. I'm actually keeping the high price items since I already have about 15k on me.
I actually had a similiar experience to yours since I found an ebony dagger and tried to stop using my bow and just go full on melee. Works well against wandering monsters, but the tougher stuff still chews me up. Damn low endurance, but it's still fun to find all the different things you can do with just the same character.
From the two lords I got a dremora mace (useless to me but looks very cool) and some cheap drawven weapon I just left on his body. In the actual ruin though there was dremora staff, sword, and even a helmet, which looks really good on a shelf.
I'm starting to want one of those nifty hats too, but I'd feel bad about offing a poor guy whose just doing his job. Maybe I'll just add one in with the editor. Could even build a whole quest around it.
Damn, this is a great game. Even some of the bugs are kind of fun. I fell through one of those Vivec buildings into water underneath and you just see this massive empty thing high above you. Should have taken a screenshot of that. Looked pretty cool. I also trapped a Bone Lord behind a door. It looked like his arms were stuck through it and he couldn't get out. So I put him out of his misery.
