sorry mode, i have been meaning to get it, but it seems more for theif characters,and frosty was a warrior/healing /mystic type, so i had horrible stealth stuff, so i havent tried it yet. i have a new kajiit assasin guy going, so i will definitly check it out. one more reccomendation, the "house of spears" very nice pair of shops that sell some unique looking spears, including a very cool looking scythe and a sapphire lance, the scythe has a little bit of clipping issues, but it looks so bad ass, its hard to care, despair would like this one

oh and if you got the seige of firemoth mod from the official plug ins at beth's site, sea of destiny will conflict, so pick one or the other, i strangely never did seige, but the genral concensus of the boards is that sod beats the flying hell out of it.

does anyone else's copy just quit on them? It takes me right back to the desktop immediatly, like it was never running in the first place. It's always done it too me, but it happened 3 times tonight. Still don't know what the hell is causing it.

mien did, but its because my younger brother had been leaving it in unsanctiond areas and it was scratched to hell. did you dl any new mods that might have some kind of major conflict?

no, i actually don't use any mods. Dont think the disk has any scratches either. i just have to remember to save all the time

I stopped playing this when one of my quest items disappeared and none of my save files has it. I didn't think that this kind of thing can happen in a game, but apparently it is a bug all the way back in the daggerfall games. And this is when I made my unarmed(100) and unarmored(~70) character with pimping "exquisite" clothes.

I am still pissed off about it.

Any suggestions on making the game a little bit more difficult? I pretty much was owning everything with my unarmed and unarmored character, maybe a spell casting guy?

ok quick update, 2 more mods i found that should be checked out

First is samuraidoykin's(one word, really) kyodin armor complete from euro morrowind, very cool retextures of the orcish armor to make it look like a full suit of samurai armor. the scabbards and quivers put it well above some of the other samurai mods out there.

second is one for the casters, its star boi's magical goods, tons of staves and wands,plus, for the homeowners, it has some neat crystal balls and things. warning, starboi evidently has a good system, and he assumes we do to, so expect the shop that sells the stuff to chug a bit if you are on an older rig, but dont worry too much, most of the stuff becomes loot pretty quick, so if you are controlling the bandit population, you will find his stuff here and there. he even has dual weilding for the wands..which looks kind of odd, but if you are a caster with block as a skill, it looks more in character than a shield.

oh and damien, there si no escaping that towards the end, you become godzilla, the best way around that is either beat it sooner, use off skill weapons, or push up the difficulty slider(if you are on pc) If you play around and adventure for a while, yeah, you are going to become stronger than most everything pretty quick. do you have tribunal? that had some extra difficulty, i was 45th level and those guys were giving me grief.

i'm level 30 ish and the black dart gang was fucking my shit up, so i had to run, dodge, and be trixie. Most fun i've had in a Morrowind fight in a long time.

question, all the Ordinators hate me and the head of the temple refuses to reinstate me because i've transgressed twice. is there any way i can i can make amends? traveling through vivec sucks now. Even the Ordinators in tribunal don't like me.

Get the expansions. My character's practically a god in the regular game but he's getting his butt handed to him on difficulty 100.

This was with the expansions with difficult set at 100.

Anyway, I went for a magician type with light armor. I am pretty much raping all my enemies now(at the start of the game), but as soon as enemies start using magic against me, I will be screwed (+100% magic damage penalty).
