question, all the Ordinators hate me and the head of the temple refuses to reinstate me because i've transgressed twice. is there any way i can i can make amends? traveling through vivec sucks now. Even the Ordinators in tribunal don't like me.

Iunno about the temple head, but I believe there are mods out that address the whole inordinately ornery ordinator thing.

So, is there a way to bypass the opening movies without dealing with missing file errors at start-up? I suppose I could potentially rip the disc and hack the iso, but... bleargh.

do you mean the bethesda logo and the fade in on the title screen? just hit escape when they start.

yeah, i will post it later, but if you are playing pc, there is a console command that reduces the aggro, i got that when i accidentily wore the ordinator armor into almalexia's temple. the worst thing is, i got said armor from solving the "jack the ripper" storyline. so i was marked for death for solving a murder

yeah, that slow ass loading screen teaches you the esc trick pretty fast, it works twice, first when the bethesda logo loads,and again when the new/continue/options/ screen loads. when i was hardcore into mw that saved my fragile mind.

Heh, I knew it wasn't the nasty little loading bug I got. If anyone else gets it, uninstall and keep your saves. Then reinstall and apply patch.

I don't suppose their's anything for this on the xbox? I'm at a point right now where I have to be in Vivec quite a bit, and it's sapping my enjoyment of the game.

All the Fable talk combined with me not owning it has gotten me back into this game. Apparently I needed a few months away from it because I was just getting overwhelmed by all the stuff the GoTY edition threw at me, but now I'm enjoying it again.

Anyway, is there a method to revive a mercenary who dies in your service in Mournhold? I got jumped deep in the sewers under the city near the ancient battlefield by a gang of Goblin Officers, Handlers, and some War Durzogs thrown in for good measure. My merc got nailed, and he's carrying a ton of stuff. What's more, I'm not sure I can fight my way out alone. Is he dead for good? I'm worried if I just leave & come back his corpse will disappear. I could just restart my save or move the difficulty slider down, but that's no fun.
