Favorite Next-Gen Platformer?

Ratchet and Clank for me, definatly..in fact, im currently replaying it because I cant wait for the next one to release. Those would be followed by Maximo, Sly Cooper, Jak II and Mario Sunshine.

since Rayman 2 came out for PS2, im probably just gonna go with that. it's either that or Klonoa 2, then Mario Sunshine.

Klonoa 2 and Jak II are also good in my book. I don't know why alot of people here didn't like Jak II. Not liking Blinx is something I can perhaps understand though I found it to be greatly charming but Jak II is pretty damn upright.

I haven't played too many in that genre, but I had a lot of fun with Ratchet & Clank. I'd probably check out the sequel when that comes out.

Not a fan of Maximo, I played Super Ghouls & Ghosts to the extreme when I was a lad (Sardius *shakes fist*), but I stilll couldn't get into it. I think it's mainly because I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hate Susumu Matsushita's art style, he used to do all the art for the Super Adventure Islands....



He draws like the bastard lovechild of Walt Disney, Boris Vajello, and a crack whore artist obsessed with render shading.
