When the pair was asked the longest duration either had gone without sustenance, Gass replied that one time he had gone eight hours between meals. Black said that once he slept for 12 hours, effectively spending 13 hours in-between meals. "It's gonna test our will, but I feel confident we're gonna make it," said Gass.


After the hunger strike, Black said the group will continue working on the long-awaited Tenacious D movie, "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny."

Just got The Complete Masterworks dvd from Best Buy ($13 I believe)...

Disc 1...

The Concert - I didn't know what to expect but it was a very enjoyable watch with some good laughs. It's really suprising that JB and KG are talented on the guitars and have a good voices.

The HBO series - I've seen all the episodes before hand but still funny stuff and a couple of their songs on the album originated on the shows. "Greatest Song in the World" has to be the best episode.

Disc 2 ...

Tenacious D shorts - The most fucked up stuff on the dvd. Couldn't help but laugh my ass off.

TV Appearances - Three songs played on various shows. It's hilarous to see Max Weinberg play drums on Wonderboy while JB and KG are in super hero costumes on the Conan show.

Music Videos - The music videos (Tribute, Wonderboy, and FHG) plus the making of Tribute and Wonderboy. Haven't seen the makings of yet..

On the Road Documentary - Will update afer watching...
