I just want Alien & Aliens. But you're right, Mech. The packaging is better for the individual volumes, and it's cheaper as well ($19.99 each, $80 total, as opposed to $100 for the box). All you get is a nearly useless bonus disc in the box set, from what I've read.

As DNG said, if you really want the box, you can find a good deal if you look around a little. I do agree wholeheartedly that the box's packaging sucks. It's awkward and cheaply made, but the discs' content is so incredible, it's worth it. I also wonder if the release of the individual discs will make the box a collector's item later on.

You Alien3 haters might want to rent the SE. The extended cut is an interesting improvement.

Actually I think Fry's had this on sale last week too for 50, Ill keep an eye out and If i see it again on the cheap, Ill post here.

You guys should check out all the bargain threads at the DVDTalk.com forums (like CheapAssGamer, but for DVDs) Some good deals will pop up here and there.

After much internal debate (the Alien Quad box is cool and all) I finally decided that Mzo is right in this one... and just bought the first three movies tonight.
