Accutane?
I know when Im under a lot of stress, I tend to break out.
I need a cure for this crap. I've been to the doctor, and while the prescribed medicine worked, the acne came back when I ran out. I've also tried nearly all the over-the-counter stuff, not much help.
Then there is the "Don't eat chocolate and nuts" ordeal. Who's gone without it and seemed to have worked?
Accutane?

I'm on like two different cremes and perscription meds that fuck with my stomach. I hate it, but it's starting to fade out. Too bad my face is peeling now because of the fuckin creme... ugh.
Well Freeman stuff is good for body lotions and such, it works well IMO. You could find them just about anywhere, I'd suggest a big megalomart such as...well..Wal-Mart. Normal cheap scrub that cleans everything out, but it all depends on what kind of skin you have, whether it be too dry or too oily, I suggest getting something specific and simple, pills and all that junk are a joke. Also, eat better, more water, hell even go in a sauna for a half hour or one, it opens up your pores and that's the best thing you could ask for. Here's the link to the soap.

If you eat chocolate, nuts, other greasy food and then touch your face, you'll get more acne. Acne is your pores getting clogged. There's no way that your pores are going to get clogged any more or less by eating or not eating certain foods.Originally Posted by Shinobi128
I can help you here, for sure. Here's a few products you should have, and aren't a billion dollars:
Face Products
-----------------------------
1.) Dove face clothes--you wash your face with these twice a day. Use the sensitive skin ones, even if you are oily. They are fragrance free, and will not clog your pores. Cut the clothes in 1/2 to save money.
2.) Neutrogena SkinClearing Moisturizer. It has retinol and salicylic acid. Use this at night.
3.) Neutrogena Visibly Firm Night Cream --use IN THE DAYTIME. It sounds silly, but use it in the day. If you want to, you can use this on top of the Neutrogena SkinClearing Moisturizer at night. But, it's key to wear this during the day. It's great stuff.
Vitamins
--------------------------
4.) Take Pantothenic acid. They come in 250mg or 500mg tablets. Get the 500mg ones. http://www.iherb.com/pantoacid.html Take 5g a day, possibly even 10g if you don't mind having gas.
5.) Take vitamin E pills. 1000mg once a day.
Optional
---------------------------
6.) Shiseido Clay Mask-- http://www.neobeauty.com/shisskinpurm.html Works wonders.
7.) Tea tree oil--you can get this at Walmart. Dab it on red marks/active acne. Dries it up like crazy/helps fade red marks.
8.) Neosporin--put on red marks from existing acne to fade them.
And there you have it. These products should last a month each, and everything will run you around 40-50 dollars (not including the optional). Not too bad to have clear skin.
Oh, and food CAN be associated with acne, don't let any doctor/person tell you otherwise. They won't tell you to lay off a food because they want you coming back to them and getting new products. If you fast for three days or more, acne lessens considerably. Food DOES play a role, I am just not completely sure how. Maybe hormonal?
I took all your French Toast.
Most likely, it all depends of the enzymes in the food and the diet you have. Also little things that you may never notice like not touching your face all the time, especially if you dont wash your hands often, humid areas, washing with soap and even drinking a few more glasses of water a day will guarantee an already visible decrease in acne. It's all about consideration, how clean you'll be to go out of your way for no more acne. Aurora's thoughts are pretty accurate and true. Listen to himOriginally Posted by Aurora

Pantothenic acid (b5) rocks. Seriously. I freak when I run out.
Shinobi, feel free to message me on AIM about anything like this. My AIM is Ambush Elephant. I have to maintain good skin because of some of my side-jobs. You can have a 50-70% improvement in as little as 2 weeks.

When I was a kid I used to have acne pretty bad, and I ended up seeing a dermatologist. I ended up using Retin-A before I went to bed at night, some other cream when I got up in the morning, in addition to some pills. I cleared up pretty quick.
