So what's everyone's best Mist Knack combo? I got a 14 hit plus the Dark Blast finisher. It wasn't even against a boss, haha, just some Elemental out in the Nabreus Deadlands (that place is lethal). Didn't even kill the fucker, I had to run away like a baby afterwards. I'm way too underleveled right now.
That secret area in Nabudis is fucking nuts, the Necrohol. The -traps- in there were laying down the hurt on me, I didn't even get much a chance to taste the actual monsters.

What do you mean by no "Mist Charge"? I do get the Mist Charge option a lot. All you need to do is rapidly press that character's button. It's a free Quickening for them once you press that button enough times. Is that not what you do? It only sucks when all your characters have no options whatsoever and you have to shuffle.
But yeah, I got really lucky. At least one person had a Quickening available or at least a Mist Charge, especially towards the end. When they didn't, I managed to shuffle and link the Quickening in time. Everyone in my party has all 3 Quickenings at their arsenal so of course that helps a lot, too. My usual combos are in the 13-14ish range. Any less than 10 and I feel like it's a wasted Quickening combo.

By no mist charge I just meant did you get lucky enough to get straight-up attacks and never have to shuffle or anything. I got that 14 and thought it was crazy.
Okay, so where the hell do you buy Hastega, etc.? I can't find a bunch of these magicks at any of the stores.
You check Balfoheim and Rabanastre? They usually update the spells... Forgot where I bought it.
I haven't even stepped foot in that place yet and I already have those spells. Nomi is also at the same spot as me storywise and I already have it so I think it's possible to get them before that. Maybe they're level-based?
Edit: Actually. Nevermind. I don't have it. I confused it with all the other -ga spells I have.

As a side note, all you have to do is show up there and then leave immediately and you'll have access to the extra spells and everything in shops. I decided to drop by and then had second thoughts, and it turned out rather well.
