Now, we need a Team Ninja version of Tecmo Bowl!!!

  2. Awesome. Now mobile phones have a better football game than any of the current three consoles.

But it's not Tecmo Super Bowl? Oh well. Both games are great.

  3. This is cool, since I havn't seen that anybody has released a 2003 version.

  4. Dammit, I thought we were gonna see a sequal to the best football games ever. Well at least I can play this thing on my cell. Oh well...

  5. Do we really need a sequel? I do think they could do much better. All I want is updated rosters.

I don't even know if I'd be interested in a sequal. It was just so perfect on the NES.... They tried with SNES and Genesis versions, but they were just never as good.

Porting the NES orriginal sounds like a good idea to me.

  7. I played a full season of Super Tecmo Bowl on the SNES this year. Its still such a great game.

  8. Awesome, finaly a good reason for me to buy a cell phone.

I played through a season of Tecmo Super Bowl on the NES a few months ago, still the best football series ever made. And I loved the orignal SNES/Gen STB, however 2 & 3 were complete shit. I'd still rather see a GBA port of the SNES STB with updated teams & rosters. But this is good for now. I wonder if LT will still be untouchable in this version.
Currently Playing: Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster (PC), Let's Build a Zoo (PC) & Despot's Game (PC)

One of the things I love about NES Tecmo Superbowl is that Lawrence Taylor runs 3X faster than everybody else and sends the other team flying through the air on contact (with minimal button mashing) and Jerry Rice can catch anything as long as there are less than 5 defenders directly overlapping his sprite.
