Blowout (PS2, XBOX) anyone play this yet ?

Blowout is a Contra Shattered Soldier clone for the PS2/XBOX. This game retails for $19.99 for the XBOX, and $9.99 for the PS2. Anyone play this title and care to share some thoughts on this game. Thanks !!

Interesting. Couldn't hurt to try at $10.00. Any idea why the Xbox version is $20.00? Does it look that much better or run that much smoother?

I would assume it's less competition on the Xbox. Is Contra available on the Xbox?

nope, no Contra for Xbox, but wtf is up with this Castlevania for Xbox rumor I been hearing? Or is known?

Isn't the reason for the higher Xbox price is it's on a DVD (CD-ROM for the PS2)... therefore higher production costs?

Oh, Blowout's also coming to the GC in early December and the PC in late December - each for $10.

I saw a review of it...somewhere, probably GMR, and it looked pretty good. For $10, you can't really go wrong.

$10 on Cube as well? That doesn't make any sense. I'd imagine propritary Cube discs cost more to make than common DVD's. Media differences can't be why the Xbox costs more.....

I might have to wait and get this on the Cube. Wavebird you know.

I've heard the reason for Xbox games being more expensive is due to regulations. Apparently, $20 is the lowest you can go on Xbox. If you notice, all of the multi platform bargain games have been $20 on Xbox and $10 on Ps2, like Mojo.

If it is going to be $10 on cube, I'll wait for that version. Beats paying twice as much for the Xbox version and potentially having problems with the CD Rom based Ps2 version.
